Get into Google fast and free

How can you quickly get your new site on Google?

When you create a new website for your home business, that’s exactly what you want, right? For search engines to find you … fast.

Reality: Google prefers its spiders (a spider is a computer robot that roams the Internet) to find new sites rather than having website owners use the “submit a site” page.

Therefore, the easiest way to find your new site is to make sure it appears on one of the sites that Google visits frequently. My own site at eprofitnews.com/blog has about 5 hits from Google spiders every hour. Spiders from the other search engines visit less often, but that is still many times a day.

So how can you get your site to appear on one of these popular sites?

There are at least two ways:

1. Place a free classified ad on one of the most popular ad sites.

2. Create a blog at blogger.com and link to your new website.

Let’s talk about the first of this article.

When it comes to free classified ad sites, the leader of the pack is Craigslist. This site apparently receives more traffic than Google Canada. So place an ad there (especially in the San Francisco Bay area section) and it will be picked up quickly. And it’s free.

Not sure of the category of your ad? Go to the Small Biz section. Write a factual ad instead of a sales one, because your goal is to get search engines indexing your site instead of making a sale. Craigslist moderators can remove a banner ad.
