Oreck Vacuums Vs Simplicity Vacuums

Oreck vacuum cleaners are the best known on the market due to the millions of dollars spent on advertising each year. Simplicity vacuums are rarely advertised, but are selling in the millions due to in-store demos and word of mouth. Both machines are very similar. They weigh around 8 pounds, making them easy and lightweight for just about anyone to use. Both have excellent filtration, cleaning the air down to 0.03 microns with an efficiency of 99.97%. Won’t suffocate on dust. You won’t have to buy filters either because the polypropylene microfiber bag does it all! Both machines employ a direct fan system to create airflow. The fan pushes huge amounts of air into the microfiltration bag, this system cleans the carpet much better than the indirect motor design used by Hoover, Dyson, Eureka, etc.

The Oreck uses a wooden brush to shake the carpet and fix the fibers, this is much better than the plastic brushes found in all department store vacuums. Plastic brush rollers can easily warp and melt if pet hair or thread is twisted at the ends. Requires an expensive replacement. Simplicity goes one step further, they use a steel brush with replaceable brushes, within a few years you can spend 10.00 to replace the brush strips instead of 50.00 on a brand new brush roller. The belt is made in the same way as your car’s serpentine belt and is guaranteed for life. The Oreck, and most other vacuums, use a large rubber band known as a “slip belt”, which requires periodic replacement.

Tidewater Sew-Vac Inc sells both new and rebuilt brands. Before buying your next vacuum, go to your local Oreck and Simplicity dealer and do a comparison yourself. Either brand will give you a great clean and you get great service in the store, and that’s something you won’t find in a department store or X-club!
