Quick and easy chocolate cake

When is a brownie not just a brownie? When it comes to a quick and easy chocolate cake of course!

If you’re like most people, you love brownies. But when you’re in the mood for something a little “sweeter” than a regular brownie, make this quick and easy fudge cake, which is a cross between a regular brownie and a creamy fudge. It’s even delicious enough to serve in company if you dress it up a bit (see note below).

QUICK AND EASY FUDGE CAKE

1C sugar

1/4 teaspoon flour

4 heaped tablespoons. golden cocoa 2 m2 chocolate, melted

Mix the above ingredients, then add:

1/2 teaspoon melted butter

2 whole eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

Place in a greased 9-inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cold. Place in refrigerator before serving. Makes 6 to 8 servings.

NOTE: Top each cake slice with ice cream or whipped cream and a fresh berry or some chocolate chips for garnish. Swirl the chocolate syrup on each plate and lightly dust the entire portion with a little sifted cocoa powder.

For a hot fudge brownie sundae, heat up some hot syrup. Top a brownie slice with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, then pour hot fudge sauce over the ice cream and sprinkle a few pecan pieces.

wow! Now you have a dessert that is definitely “not just a brownie.” Now you have an impressive fudge pie brownie dessert that is perfect for even your most important guests (you don’t have to tell them it was quick and easy).
